希臘債務協商再爆戲劇性發展！就在希臘人民週日 (5 日) 公投決定拒絕債權人紓困方案之繼，希臘財政部長 Yanis Varoufakis 週一 (6 日) 一早竟宣布請辭，並表示這是為了讓之後的協商進展更順利。
Varoufakis 於個人部落格發布聲明寫到：「在公投結果宣布後不久，我被告知有些歐洲參與者及所謂『夥伴』，某種程度偏好我『缺席』他們的會議；而 (希臘) 總理也認為 (我的離開) 可能有助於他達成協議。」他因此即日起離開財長職位。
